You may want to adjust growth rates when creating your workspace to model a change in activity from the historical data you are using to create your workspace.
On the Growth Rates page, you can choose to adjust deliveries for Ground, deliveries for Home, deliveries for SmartPost, and/or pickups for Ground and Home combined. For each, you can increase by percentage or stop count.
Note: For Peak Planning workspaces, percentage adjustments will already be set as defaults based on information provided by FedEx. For non-Peak workspaces, these percentages will not be provided.
1. On the Growth Rates page, review the Existing Averages for the postal codes in your workspace.
2. If you want
to use the same percentage increase for all postal codes in any of the
categories, click the Edit icon
in the Incremental Stop % header
for Ground, Home
Delivery, SmartPost, and/or Pickup,
and enter a percentage increase. Click the checkmark to save the change
or the X to discard.
3. To
set individual increases, for each postal code, click the Edit
icon
for the field (either Incremental Stop/Pickup
% or Incremental Stops/Pickups)
you want to adjust. The field will become editable.
4. Use the editable field to adjust the deliveries and/or pickups. You may also type in the value you want to use.
5. Click the checkmark to save the change you made, or click the X to discard the change. If you are adjusting based on percentage, the stop count will be updated automatically, and vice-versa. Changed rates will be highlighted in green.
6. When you are finished adjusting growth rates, proceed to the workspace Summary page.
