You may want to copy a solution because you have your data in a good place and optimized, and want to model a different scenario but you do not want to optimize your work areas again to create a solution. You may also want to make a copy so you can make those changes to your work areas while preserving the current state of your solution.
If you copy the Baseline solution, the time and mileage in the copy may be different from the original. The RouteSmart Work Area Planning application sequences your existing work areas behind the scenes as it creates a copy of a solution. Making a copy of your Baseline solution gives you the ability to use the Transfer stop tool and the Assign work areas to entity tool in the Baseline copy, which are not available when viewing your regular Baseline solution.
CSP Note: You may only create a copy of the Baseline solution if it contains only your work areas. If the workspace contains data from other entities as well, you will not be able to copy the Baseline.
1. On
the Solutions page 
, click the solution you
want to copy in the solutions list.
2. Click Copy. A copy of your solution, with the name “Copy of <solution name>,” will be added to the solutions list.
Note: You can edit the name and/or description of the solution copy if you want.
